Rourkela: Raghunathpalli police busted a vehicle theft racket with the arrest of three persons on Thursday. Police seized 7 SUVs, 4 motorcycles, 3 mobile phones and 2 master keys from them. Those arrested have been identified as Kanhu Nayak (31), Anup Munda (29), and Md. Gulzar (28), of Rourkela.The trio operated on Rourkela’s periphery under Raghunathpalli, Tangarpali, Brahmani Tarang, Bandamunda, and Gurundia police limits. The gang was also involved in a burglary in Bisra police station area, police sources said. Police said Kanhu Nayak has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2011 with 47 cases pending against him.
