Balasore: A sanitary pad manufacturing unit named “Kaalika” was inaugurated at Fakir Mohan University (FMU) Nuapadhi campus in Balasore district on Wednesday. The unit has been established under the aegis of the Fakir Mohan University–Technology Business Incubator (FMU-TBI). It has received support from Emami Paper Mills Limited, while Prasanta Enterprises, Jharsuguda, is the technical partner. The initiative is the first-of-its-kind among universities in Odisha and reflects the institution’s commitment to inclusive and socially responsive development.
