NBSE class 10, 12 result 2025: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will release the results of the Class 10 (High School Leaving Certificate – HSLC) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate – HSSLC) examinations today, April 25, 2025, in the afternoon. Students who appeared for the exams will be able to check and download their marksheets from the official NBSE result portal and other authorised government websites.
Students who do not qualify will have the opportunity to appear for compartmental exams. Details and schedules for the supplementary exams will be announced shortly after the results are declared.
This year, the NBSE HSLC exams were held between February 12 and 24, while the HSSLC exams took place from February 11 to March 7, 2025.
In 2024, the HSLC pass percentage was 71.87%, a slight improvement from 70.32% in 2023. The HSSLC pass percentage in 2024 was 82.91%, marginally up from 82.62% in 2023.

NBSE HSLC, HSSLC result 2025: How to check

Candidates can follow the instructions as given here to download your mark sheet online once it is released:
Step 1: Visit the official NBSE website at nbsenl.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for “HSLC Result 2025” or “HSSLC Result 2025” under the Latest Updates or Announcement section.
Step 3: Enter your roll number and other required login credentials (such as date of birth, as prompted).
Step 4: Click on the “Submit” or “View Result” button.
Step 5: Your scorecard will appear on the screen. Carefully review the details.
Step 6: Download the result PDF and keep a copy saved.
Step 7: Take a printout of the result for future reference.

Nagaland Board result 2025: What’s next?

Students who fail to meet the qualifying marks in any subject will need to appear for compartment exams, for which the detailed timetable and application process will be issued soon by the board. Additionally, physical copies of the result gazette and mark sheets will be dispatched to respective schools by NBSE in the coming days.

TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2025: Important dates and application process

Nagaland NBSE HSSLC 2025 results declared, 82.44% students pass, girls outshine boys again: Check stream wise toppers and key details here – The Times of India


The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the results for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) 2025 examinations today. A total of 16,649 students appeared for the exams across the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams.
Of the total candidates, 13,725 have cleared the exams, bringing the overall pass percentage to 82.44%. Continuing the trend from previous years, girls have outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 85.98%, significantly ahead of the 78.17% recorded by their male counterparts.

Nagaland NBSE HSSLC 2025 results: Stream-wise toppers

In the Arts stream, which saw the largest number of examinees (12,404), 84.05% cleared the exam. Vikhono Senotsu of Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma, topped the stream with 481 marks (96.20%).
In Commerce, Arti Kumari from Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, led with 473 marks (94.60%), helping the stream achieve an overall pass rate of 81.40%.
The Science stream, despite being the toughest, saw 76.54% students succeed, with Snigdha Mukherjee from St. John Hr. Sec. Residential School, Dimapur, securing the top spot with 467 marks (93.40%).

NBSE HSSLC 2025 results: What to do next

The provision for rescrutiny applications is open until May 10, 2025, at a fee of INR 500 per subject. Students seeking to improve their marks or those with up to four failed subjects can apply for the Improvement or Compartmental Exams, respectively, between May 12 and 17, 2025.
Both exams will be held in June 2025. Mark sheets and pass certificates will be available at respective institutions from May 2 onwards. The NBSE has also confirmed that Migration Certificates will be available for download via the official portal.

Girls outperform boys in UP Board 2025 exams: UPMSP announces results

PRAYAGRAJ: Girls have once again outshined boys in the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board, commonly known as UP Board, examinations for both High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) levels.
According to the results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Friday at the Board’s headquarters here at Prayagraj, the pass percentage of female students has significantly surpassed that of their male counterparts.
In the High School results the overall pass percentage was 90.11%. Out of 25,45,815 students who appeared, 13,27,024 were boys and 12,18,791 were girls. Among the successful candidates, 11,44,138 were girls, registering a pass percentage of 93.87%, while 11,49,984 boys passed with a pass percentage of 86.66%. This marked a 7.21% lead in favour of girls.
Likewise, in the Intermediate (Class 12) examinations, the superior performance of female students too was exceptionally well as compared to boys. While the overall pass percentage stood at 81.15%, girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.37%, compared to 76.60% among boys, a gap of 9.77%.

The examinations were held from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across 8,140 centers over 13 working days. Answer sheets were evaluated between March 19 and April 2 at 261 evaluation centers, involving 92,594 teachers. A total of 3,682 candidates appeared for partial subject exams under board regulations.
In high school results, the institutional candidates showed a stronger performance with a pass percentage of 90.19%, compared to 68.9% for private candidates, a notable difference of 21.29%. Out of the total passed, 22,87,431 were institutional and 6,691 were private candidates.
Likewise, in the Intermediate result, out of 25,98,560 candidates who took the Intermediate exam, 13,87,263 were boys and 12,11,297 were girls. Among those who passed, 10,62,616 were boys, and 10,46,158 were girls.
Interestingly, private candidates (81.28%) slightly outperformed institutional candidates (81.15%), a rare instance where the gap favored private students, though marginally by 0.13%. In total, 20,38,884 institutional and 69,890 private candidates cleared the exam.
