Mystery Shrouds Bike Mechanic’s Death In Warasiguda

Hyderabad: A bike mechanic Mohan Krishna from Warasiguda in Secunderabad ended his life reportedly fearing that he would face unnecessary problems in connection with the murder of his friend during a party hosted by him on April 27.

As the 31-year-old bike mechanic’s engagement is scheduled to be conducted on May 4, he hosted a party for his friends – Samson Raju and Lutharas three days ago. While consuming liquor, a heated argument took place between Raju and Lutharas and in a fit of rage Lutharas attacked Raju with an iron resulting in serious head injuries. Raju was brought dead to a nearby hospital.

Krishna later returned home and ended his life by hanging. The Warasiguda police said the reasons behind Krishna’s death were yet to be ascertained. He took the drastic step when his family members were away from the house.

“We enquired with Krishna’s family members who informed us that they were also not aware of the reasons behind his death,” a police official said.
