The Department of Kannada and Culture, in collaboration with Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Pradhikara, will host its monthly lecture on Friday, spotlighting the intricate art of literary translation.
Writer and critic Nataraj Huliyar will deliver a talk titled ‘Shakespeare Bhashantara Srujanasheela Savalugalu’ , focusing on the creative challenges involved in translating the works of William Shakespeare into Kannada.
The event will take place on the Kuvempu Bhasha Pradhikara premises, Kalagrama, at Mallathahalli at 5 p.m. It is open to the public.
