New Delhi: A man was found dead inside a park in southwest Delhi’s Kakrola on Monday morning. The police suspect it to be a case of murder.Police said they received a PCR call after locals discovered the body of a man aged around 30 years. The victim had sustained sharp and blunt injuries to the neck and face. A jacket was also found outside the park wall.A review of CCTV footage from the park and surrounding areas revealed that around 4.40am, the victim was apparently involved in an altercation with another individual and was reportedly being forcefully taken into the park. The deceased was not yet identified.“We are examining the footage from nearby areas to trace the route taken by the suspect after the incident. We are also speaking with residents to help determine the identity of the deceased,” an officer said.Earlier on Jan 15, an 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death inside a park in Rohini after allegedly being lured through social media by a group of boys. Five were apprehended.
