Indian army flexes muscle in border state amid Pakistan drone incursions In J&K| Army day parade

India marked its 78th Army Day with a historic grand parade in Jaipur, held for the first time outside a cantonment area and open to the public. The spectacular event showcased the Indian Army’s valour, technological strength and Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) through an impressive display of infantry units, mechanised columns and paratroopers. A major highlight was the debut of the newly-raised Bhairav Battalion, positioned between the Para Special Forces and regular infantry, created to meet the demands of modern, fast-paced warfare. The parade also featured India’s cutting-edge firepower, including BrahMos missiles, Arjun tanks, K-9 Vajra, Dhanush artillery guns, BMPs, and the upgraded BM-21 Grad and Smerch multi-barrel rocket systems.
