Calicut, Sep. 27: The Ernad police are now investigating a case in which a Moplah maistry employed in the construction of the Shornur-Nilambur Railway came in possession of a treasure trove in the act of doing earth work. The trove contained some ancient gold coins with the symbol of an elephant on one side, each weighing 10 and a half panams.
