Chief electoral officer (CEO) Manoj Agarwal on Friday spoke to chief secretary Nandini Chakravorty and DGP Rajeev Kumar regarding the ransacking of the Chakulia SIR hearing centre. So far, 21 people have been arrested in this connection.The EC has decided to start the hearing process at Chakulia once normalcy returns. “Police are probing the incident of ransacking of the BDO office,” said Agarwal.If needed, there might be additional time granted to Chakulia to complete the hearing, Agarwal added.
