Karnataka Bank Chairman P. Pradeep Kumar, on January 12, said Swami Vivekananda did not view the youth merely as a numerical population; instead, he saw them as a powerful driving force and an inspiration for development.
He was speaking after inaugurating the National Youth Day event organised by Mangaluru Ramakrishna Mission as part of its Amrita Mahotsava celebrations. Mr. Kumar said, “Swami Vivekananda recognised the true strength of the youth and always emphasised utilising this strength to transform the nation.”
“Education that builds character is essential. Learning about the world is a lifelong process. Everyone should respect the law of the land. Morality, humanity and values should never be abandoned,” he said.
