CHENNAI: A Hindu Munnani functionary was allegedly hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Tirupur city in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.Tirupur City Police have formed three special teams to trace the attackers. Senior officers said they are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning suspects in the area. A case of murder has been registered and further investigation is under way.
