During the virtual meeting, Mr. Stalin instructed the officials to ensure that petitions received under the ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ programme were reviewed at once, an official release stated.

The Chief Minister also reiterated that officials must ensure amenities for those who visit the camps organised under the progamme. Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and two of the Chief Minister’s secretaries were at the hospital with him.

Following giddiness during his morning walk, the 72-year-old Chief Minister was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road in the city on Monday (July 21) forenoon. A bulletin issued by the hospital on Monday evening said that he had been advised rest for three more days and was prescribed a few other tests for evaluation.
