
Sirpur (T) MLA Ends Hunger Strike On Day 5
ADILABAD: Sirpur (T) MLA Palvai Harish Babu on Friday ended his indefinite hunger strike on the fifth day at his residence in Kagaznagar town, Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
He had launched the strike demanding that the state government cancel GO No. 49, which declared the tiger corridor area between Tadoba Andhari and Kawal Tiger Reserve as a conservation reserve.
BJP Legislative Party floor leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy offered juice to the MLA to mark the end of his strike. Speaking on the occasion, BJP MLAs Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, Payal Shankar, Rakesh Reddy, and Venkataramana Reddy said they would continue to fight in the Assembly for the cancellation of GO No. 49 and strive to secure justice for both Adivasis and non-tribals.
