Koderma: Several students sustained injuries after a school bus ferrying them collided with a roadside tree near Dardahi under Markachho police station limits on Thursday. The bus was ferrying students of a private school at Ghorthambha when the driver lost control and hit the tree. Hearing the screams of students, locals rushed the injured to the nearby clinic. Later the guardians of the students took them to homes after initial treatment. “More than half a dozen students were in the bus,” said an official of Markachho PS, adding that the driver fled the scene and no FIR was lodged till the time of filling the news.
