Putting an end to claims and dissent over the expected Cabinet expansion in Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the party high command is seized of the issue and no amount of claims will have an impact on the final outcome.
Mr. Reddy said those openly airing their views and in public will not benefit and it may prove to be counter-productive for them. The AICC leadership has taken the views of all and it will decide on the names. No pressure will work on them as the party interests are paramount, he said.
At the same time, Mr. Reddy sent a strong message to the MLAs that party will not be cowed down by the threats. His comments come in the wake of some MLAs openly demanding that they be considered for a berth in the Cabinet and their tone and tenor was a bit threatening.
Manchiryal MLA Prem Sagar Rao, Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy expressed their views filled with anguish and threats in public meetings recently. Other serious aspirants are Chennur MLA Vivek Venkatswamy and Bodhan MLA Sudershan Reddy.
