
Officials can review legality of temple construction at apartment: Karnataka high court | Bengaluru News – Times of India
Bengaluru: In an interim order, the high court noted that the deputy commissioner of Bengaluru South district and the tahsildar are at liberty to examine the legality of a temple allegedly constructed by the Prestige Falcon City Apartment Owners Association at Konanakunte Cross on Kanakapura Road.Justice Sunil Dutt Yadav passed this order after hearing a petition filed by 15 residents of the apartment. The petitioners challenged the resolution dated April 18, 2025, passed by the association approving the special committee for the temple’s construction, which, according to them, is being built within the buffer zone of a storm water drain.The petitioners also sought directions to BBMP, Bescom, and BWSSB to consider their representations against the construction.
