Inner Wheel Club of Hubli West is hosting the 52nd District Rally and Conference Pravardhini of the Inner Wheel District 317 on Saturday and Sunday at Hotel Denissons in Hubballi.
Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Thursday, co-convenor of the conference Smitha Mahesh said that the event which will be inaugurated at 3.30 p.m. on the first day by association president Jyoti Mahaipal will focus on key initiatives, including the donation of medical equipment to KMCRI, Hubballi, the provision of cystoscopes and breast milk extraction equipment, women’s empowerment initiatives and an exhibition promoting women entrepreneurs.
Convenor of the rally Latha Jamkhandi stated that 40 stalls, including one khadi stall, will be set up as part of the event.
She added that the Inner Wheel Club of Hubli City will donate an e-rickshaw to a needy woman to support her livelihood and promote self-reliance.
Club president Jyoti Shet, co-convenor rally Vijaylakshmi Gadwal, club secretary Meghana Hiremath, treasurer rally-convenor P.P. Radha Kulkarni were present.
