Aimed at reshaping engineering education in Kerala, a group of IIT alumni will host the PALS roadshow in Thrissur on Saturday (July 12).
PALS is a voluntary initiative led by the IIT alumni.
The event will bring together the leadership of over 30 engineering institutions across Thrissur, Palakkad, and Ernakulam districts for an introduction to the PALS initiative and its impact on academic excellence and student empowerment, according to the organisers.
The roadshow is being organised by the IIT alumni currently based in Kerala — senior professionals who are leveraging their knowledge and experience to uplift the quality of engineering education in the State. The event will serve as a platform for colleges to explore how they can partner with PALS and integrate its offerings into their academic ecosystem, according to the organisers.
PALS is a structured programme designed to address key challenges faced by engineering institutions in the country. Its offerings include faculty development, curriculum innovation, industry-aligned learning, student workshops, and leadership engagement.
