HS: Daily check of attendance from next year | Kolkata News – The Times of India

Kolkata: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will track students’ attendance daily from next year by implementing Google Forms to get instant updates on absentees.
At this year’s HS, which ended on Tuesday, this system was used in some centres of North 24 Parganas, Jhargram, East Midnapore, Malda and Birbhum, said WBCHSE president Chiranjib Bhattacharjee.
This year, only eight mobiles were seized from students at exam centres, compared to 41 last time. Two cases of vandalism at centres were reported. The council has identified all examinees involved with help of CCTVs. They might be barred from this year’s exam if their guilt is proved.
