Pope Francis’ Final Words To His Nurse Leave The World In Tears

Published

on

The Vatican has shared emotional details of Pope Francis’ final hours, reflecting his deep humility and grace. Just before his passing, he spoke his final words to his longtime nurse, Massimiliano Strappetti, expressing calm and gratitude. On Easter Sunday, as 50,000 worshippers gathered at Saint Peter’s Square, the Pope asked his caregiver if he was strong enough to greet them. Encouraged, Francis rode through the crowd in the Popemobile, smiling and embracing children, his last public act of compassion. Later that evening, he returned to rest, only to fall into a coma by early Monday and pass away peacefully from heart complications. His final gesture was a wave to his nurse, a serene goodbye from a beloved spiritual leader. His funeral is set for Saturday at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Square.
