Discovering your inner vibration
Humans are not just skin, bone, and organs. Humans are in search of a frequency that discovers the deepest vibration within. The essence of who we are lies not in what we do, but in what we resonate with. And yet, most of us walk through life attuned to external noise rather than the inner music of our soul.
Is it possible for us to discover our inner vibration — that frequency which is uniquely and spiritually yours?
Let’s take a dive into how and why.
Our soul speaks in whispers. It doesn’t argue. It softly suggests. But we often drown that soft whisper in the noise of opinions, expectations, and distractions. Perhaps, by embracing silence, we come closer to stillness.
Whether it’s through meditation or just sitting quietly on a wooden bench in a garden, something within starts making a shift. In that moment, the world appears to pause for a while. That’s when our true signal starts to come through.
If I give reference from my own life, I have never been comfortable taking an early morning walk in someone’s company. It does not mean that I am a social recluse, but the fact remains that when you walk in your own company with meditative music playing through your headphones, you go into a zone where you are not becoming something new but you are coming back to simply ‘You’.
You’re discovering that submerged ‘You’ lifts your vibration and engages you in things that make your spirit expand. It can be a song you wanted to sing that moves you to tears, an expression which you wanted to write that lights a fire within or a paintbrush which you wanted to hold that makes time vanish. These are signs. They are not random. They are divine hints toward your inner vibration in desperate search of your artistic frequency.
Sometimes, our vibration is buried under layers of pain, trauma, hurt and misery. Once you come closer to your inner vibration, you stop competing with that layered inner chaos as there is a silent descent of peace, healing and quietude.
Ironically, through your affinity to your inner vibration, your relationship with the supreme force also undergoes a shift. You come to realise this transition when you sit in some sacred place or a sacrosanct space.
It can be a corner seat of a gurudwara or a secluded couch of a temple. The very act of closing your eyes here doesn’t start the onset of fulfilment of your most cherished wish but it makes you go into a zone of something far beyond. If I give a raw example, when a man stands inside a rose garden long enough, won’t he come out retaining that fragrance? Most certainly, he will.
That’s what happens in that sacred place. In experiencing a space of higher vibrations, you inherit the spiritual vibrations of that place. These spiritual vibrations are contagious. They lead to perfect resonance of your vibration and frequency. In that resonance, you may discover that lost voice through a song which you wanted to sing for long or you discover the depth of a poem which you were longing to write.
Does that mean that finding your inner vibration would turn you into a larger-than-life persona that the world chases or applauds?
Certainly not.
Fact remains, tuning to your inner vibration won’t make the world chase you but it will stop you from chasing what isn’t meant for you. Discovering your inner vibration will make realise that you were never meant to fit into the noise of the world, you were meant to hum your own sacred tune. The world may raise its brows when you follow your innermost call.
Let them say what they want to say. Let them adjust to your vibration.
One day, they too will love you, your vibe and your vibration.
