CPI Leader Chandu Nayak Shot Dead in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: CPI leader Chandu Nayak (43) was shot dead by unidentified assailants during his morning walk at Shalivahana Nagar Park on Tuesday.
The attackers, arriving in a car, reportedly fired six rounds before fleeing the scene. Nayak succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The incident occurred in full view of Nayak’s wife and daughter, who were accompanying him.
Hailing from Narsaipalli, Balmoor mandal, Nagarkurnool district, Nayak’s murder is suspected to be linked to land disputes, according to police. A forensic team has reached the site to collect evidence.
