Blood donation camp held | Ranchi News – The Times of India

Chatra: A blood donation camp was organised by NTPC Ltd. in association with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at North Karanpura in Tandwa block of Chatra.
The event was part of the CISF Raising Week celebrations and inaugurated by PS Srijeet, deputy commandant of CISF deployed at the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Station.
A total of 56 CISF personnel donated blood at the event. Deputy commandant Srijeet said their selfless act highlights the spirit of service and ensures a vital supply of blood for those in need. The move aimed to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation and its life-saving impact, he added.
Events like these strengthen the bond between security personnel and society, fostering a culture of care and compassion.
