BSEB intermediate result toppers: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is prepared to announce the Class 12 results for 2025 today, March 25, 2025. As students calm their nerves before the much-anticipated announcement, a look at last year’s student achievements can provide a preview of what to expect this year. The BSEB Class 12 result 2024 was declared on March 23 at the Sinha Library in Patna.
In 2024, 12,91,684 students appeared for the BSEB class 12 examination, of whom, 11,26,439 students successfully passed the exams. Statistics reveal that girls outshone boys with an average pass percentage of 88.84%, while 85.69% of boys cleared the intermediate exam. The overall pass percentage witnessed a slight increase as 87.21% of the students who appeared for the exams were able to clear the session.
Last year, the Bihar Board saw outstanding performances across all streams. Mrityunjay Kumar from Siwan topped the Science stream with 481 out of 500 marks (96.2%). Tushar Kumar from Dariapur, Saran, grabbed top position in the Arts stream with 482 marks (96.4%), while Priya Kumari from Sheikhpura secured the first position in Commerce with 478 marks (95.6%).

Bihar Board 12th merit list 2024: Stream-wise toppers

The Bihar Board 12th merit list featured some of the brightest BSEB 12th top rankers across Science, Arts, and Commerce streams.
Science stream:

  • 1st: Mrityunjay Kumar (Siwan) – 481 marks (96.2%)
  • 2nd: Simran Gupta (Saran) – 477 marks (95.4%)
  • 3rd: Varun Kumar (Sitamarhi) – 477 marks (95.4%)

Arts stream:

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the result for Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Examination (SSLC) Friday. The pass percentage for has been recorded at 66.14 per cent for 7,90,890 regular fresh students who appeared in the
Karnataka SSLC exams. Meanwhile, the overall pass percentage for all students including regular Fresh, Private Fresh, Regular and Private Repeaters has been recorded at 62.34 per cent. The KSEAB has also released the list of SSLC toppers.
A total of 22 students have emerged as state toppers with a score of 100 per cent in Karnataka board class 10th exams.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2025: Check Your KSEAB Class 10th Results Online at karresults.nic.in – The Times of India

Karnataka SSLC Result 2025 declared today, May 2, 2025.

The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board (KSEAB) is set to announce the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 results for 2025 on May 2 at 11:30 AM. Over 8.96 lakh students, including 4.61 lakh boys and 4.34 lakh girls, who appeared for the examinations conducted between March 21 and April 4, 2025, await their results. Education Minister Shri Madhu Bangarappa will declare the results during a press conference at the KSEAB headquarters.
The results will be available on official websites karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in after 12:30 PM. Students will need their roll numbers and date of birth to access their results.
The examinations were conducted across 2,818 centers in Karnataka. The evaluation process involved 65,000 assessors working at 240 centers to ensure accuracy and transparency in marking.
Students had to appear for core subjects including mathematics, science, social science, and three language papers in a pen-and-paper format.
The board has modified its grading system for 2025. The normalization has been increased by raising grade marks from 10% to 20%, and qualifying marks have been lowered from 35% to 25%.
The grading system follows a specific pattern: A+ for 90% and above, A for 80-89%, B+ for 70-79%, B for 60-69%, C+ for 50-59%, and C for 35-49%.
Past performance data shows a declining trend in pass percentages over recent years. The overall pass percentage was 73.40% in 2024, down from 83.89% in 2023 and 85.13% in 2022. The year 2021 saw an exceptionally high pass rate of 99.99%, while 2020 and 2019 recorded 71.80% and 73.70% respectively.
Students can access their results through multiple channels including official websites, DigiLocker, and SMS. For SMS results, students need to type “KAR10 (Roll Number)” and send it to 56263.
Important abbreviations used in the scorecard include F for Fail, N for Not Appearing, P for Pass/T for Taken, X for Exempted, NA for Not Appearing, and AA for Absent or Valid Marks.
Students who do not pass the SSLC Exam 1 will have opportunities to appear in Exam 2 and Exam 3. They can also apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets and request photocopies to review their performance.
The previous year’s topper was Ankita Basappa Konnur from Bagalkote district, who achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 marks.
Gender-wise performance data from 2024 showed girls achieving 91.52% pass rate compared to 85.12% for boys, while transgender students recorded a 50% pass rate.
The board will announce details regarding compartment examinations for students who wish to improve their scores shortly after the main results declaration. Only students who complete the application process and pay the required fees will be eligible to take these exams.
Udupi was the best-performing district last year with a 94% pass rate, while girls maintained an overall pass percentage of 81%.
Looking at result declaration trends over the years, SSLC results were announced on May 9 in 2024, May 8 in 2023, and May 19 in 2022. For the current academic year 2024-25, the 1st PUC results were declared on April 1, 2025, and 2nd PUC results on April 8, 2025.
Students are advised to keep their admit cards ready while checking their results, as these contain the necessary login credentials required to access the results online.

WBBSE Madhyamik Class 10 Toppers 2025: Adrita Sarkar tops with 99.43% marks – The Times of India

The president of the Ad-hoc committee, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the result for the WBBSE class 10 exams 2025 today, May 2. The results were announced today via a press conference at 9am. The direct link to access the results has been activated at 9:45am at the official website.
The overall pass percentage for WBBSE results 2025 is recorded at 86.56%. This year, boys have outshone girls by obtaining a pass percentage of 89.19%. Meanwhile, girls have obtained a pass percentage of 84.31%. The WBBSE Madhyamik exams were conducted from February 10 to 22, 2025 for 9,13,883 students.
