NEW DELHI: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has warned commuters about expected traffic disruptions in the city over the coming days due to two major factors: ongoing Navratri and Durga Puja celebrations at Palace Grounds, and roadwork on Sarjapur Road.1. Traffic Congestion on Bellary Road (September 28 – October 2)With large-scale Navratri and Durga Puja events scheduled at Palace Grounds, heavy traffic congestion is expected on Bellary Road from September 28 through October 2.Authorities have advised commuters to plan their journeys ahead of time, start early, and consider alternate routes to avoid delays. The area will experience increased vehicle and pedestrian movement, particularly in the evenings. Traffic marshals will be deployed to help manage the flow, but congestion is anticipated.2. Partial Road Closure on Sarjapur Road for White-Topping (Starting September 30)White-topping work will commence on September 30 on Sarjapur Road, specifically between Automart Junction and Agara Junction, and is expected to last for about two months.
