Ashok Leyland Ltd. on Friday inaugurated its integrated commercial vehicle plant focused on green mobility at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
Situated at the Sarojini Nagar Industrial near Lucknow Airport and spanning more than 70 acre, the new facility is the company’s most advanced and sustainable plant globally, it said.
The primary focus of the plant will be on the production of electric vehicles. The plant is designed to produce up to 5,000 vehicles annually.
