However, speculation is rife that Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, might be stepping into the role previously played by Ananya Panday. Amid these casting rumours, both Ananya and Rasha were spotted at a Mumbai event, where their interaction—or lack thereof—sparked fresh gossip about an underlying tension between the two.
During a recent awards function, Ananya Panday arrived in an elegant black ensemble, exchanging pleasantries with various celebrities. However, her interaction with Rasha Thadani—or rather, the absence of one—became a talking point.
In a viral clip, Ananya was seen turning away from Rasha and engaging in conversation with another guest, seemingly ignoring the young actress altogether. Netizens noted that Rasha appeared to expect at least a brief acknowledgement from Ananya, adding fuel to rumours of a possible rift.

Initially, South actress Sreeleela was linked to the project, but recent whispers indicate Rasha may have taken over the part.
