The 46th Jeer of Ahobila Math Srimath Srivan Satagopa Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan, also known as the 46th Azhagiyasingar is visiting Madurai for four days in September.
The reception committee members issued a press statement here on Thursday informed that the Pontiff, who is now camping at Srivilliputtur observing the chaaturmaasyam, would reach Madurai by road on September 12 evening via Villur. The disciples of the Ahobila Math would accord a rousing reception to the Pontiff with honours.
The Jeeyar would camp at the Brahmana Kalyana Mandapam in SS Colony Madurai and perform special aradhana and puja.
The Pontiff would depart from Madurai on September 16 noon to Thirukoshtiyur in Sivaganga district and is expected to camp at the Ahobila Math, Desikar Sannidhi in Mela Ratha Veethi for two days.
The Jeeyar would later proceed to Srirangam, the members said.
