Abhishek Bachchan‘s personal life has been the subject of ongoing rumours over the past few months, particularly around purported strife in his marriage with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actor has since directly addressed these rumours and his portrayal of his family dynamics has changed significantly. Abhishek talked candidly about his family life, highlighting the crucial position Aishwarya plays in raising their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. During an interview, Abhishek made it apparent that Aishwarya’s devotion and love had been essential to their daughter’s growth, while also acknowledging his own responsibility as a father. The Housefull 5 actor gave the entire credit to Aishwarya regarding their daughter’s upbringing.
He said, “I have to give the credit for everything entirely to her mother. I have the liberty and I go out to make my movies but Aishwarya does the heavy lifting with Aaradhya. She is amazing. Selfless…”

The actor said that like mothers in general, he doesn’t think fathers have the ability to be as giving. “we are more about going out, we have to do something, we have to work, we are goal-oriented…” Abhishek continued.
Abhishek also provided insight into the ideals that are being instilled in Aaradhya. He revealed that she doesn’t even have a cell phone and doesn’t use social media.
“I think she is brought up to be a very conscientious girl and I think that’s also a testimony to her individually. I don’t want to take away from her what she is personally,” he said.
The pleased father recalled the early days of fatherhood and how much Aaradhya had grown, saying, “She used to literally fit on my forearm. “Aaradhya is taller than Aishwarya.”

Abhishek, who is currently promoting his next movie, Kaalidhar Laapata, also responded to reports that he and Aishwarya were no longer together. He voiced his displeasure at the fact that how easily such stories can be spread online in an interview with ETimes. He stated that it is quite easy for people to write hurtful things when seated behind computer screens without realising the potential harm.
