Security forces recover 255 detonators in W S’bhum | Ranchi News – The Times of India

Jamshedpur: The security forces have recovered a cache of explosives besides IEDs from different Maoist infested police station limits in the West Singhbhum district on Thursday.
The combined forces involving CRPF battalion 197 and district police busted a dump of the Maoists in the forest hills of Jimkiikir forest area (I) under Tonto police station limits and seized the explosives, SP, Ashutosh Shekar said.
The security forces recovered 255 detonators including 250 non-electrical and five electrical detonators besides seven boxes of packed explosives and a pistol with a magazine.
Further, 10 car remotes, one bundle of electric wire, among other things were recovered.
In a separate recovery, the security forces seized two live IEDS each of 15kg and 3kg weight from Diku Ponga forest area under Chotanagra police station limits.
