Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Saturday spoke about the Pahalgam terror attack at a special screening of his latest film, Kesari Chapter 2.

The heinous terror attack on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 people has shaken the nation, and several celebrities have been condemning the attack. Speaking at the event, Akshay said, “Unfortunately, aaj bhi humare sab ke dil mein woh gussa phir se jaga hain. Aap sab log achchi tarah se jaante he main kis cheez ki baat kar raha hoon. Aaj bhi hum un terrorists ko ek hi baat kehna chahenge. Jo maine iss film mein kahi he….kya? (Even today, we feel that same anger all over again. You all know exactly what I am talking about. I want to say the same few words to the terrorists that I have said in the film…what?)”

Akshay then pointed the mic to the audience, urging them to utter the dialogue he used in Kesari Chapter 2 to slam the terrorists. “F*** you,” screamed the audience. For the unversed, Akshay had used the cuss word in the film to slam General Dyer for the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Earlier, Akshay had taken to his X handle to condemn the attack, writing, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families.”

At least 26 people, including two foreign tourists, were killed by a group of terrorists in one of the most deadly attacks on civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. This is the first big terror attack targeted against civilians in the Valley since 2019.

Sankaran Nair, who challenges the British crown and seeks to uncover the truth of Jallianwala Bagh.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ set video LEAKS online after Russo Brothers announce filming with Robert Downey Jr’s Victor Von Doom – WATCH | – The Times of India

A leaked video from the set of Avengers: Doomsday has taken the internet by storm, just days after the Russo Brothers confirmed that filming is officially underway — with Robert Downey Jr. returning in the powerful new role of Victor Von Doom.
The brief video clip, which surfaced on social media late Monday night, shows a mystery actor dressed in a grey suit, carrying a briefcase, walking toward a suburban-style house. The actor opens the door, enters, and closes it behind him. While the scene appears simple, the lack of a clear view of the actor’s face has ignited a frenzy of speculation among fans.
Many believe the figure could be Robert Downey Jr., shooting his much-anticipated scenes as the iconic supervillain Doctor Doom. However, others suggest the actor may be someone else entirely, potentially teasing a surprise casting.
Fueling further speculation, one tweet floated the theory that actor Julian McMahon — who previously portrayed Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four films — could be making a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a variant of the character. According to this theory, McMahon’s version may not be a villain, making room for Downey Jr. to embody the darker, central version of Doctor Doom.
On Instagram, the Russo Brothers, who will direct the MCU’s next two Avengers movies, shared the first set photo to announce that filming has finally started. While the picture doesn’t reveal details from the film, it shows a chair with the name Victor Von Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday is slated for a May 1, 2026 release. The film will likely be set after the events of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ which is slated to hit theatres on 25 June 2025.

Kashmiri Muslims Condemn Pahalgam Attack, Vow To Reclaim PoK

In the aftermath of the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, including many newlywed couples, a strong and unified message is emerging from the Kashmiri Muslim community.

Despite the grief, some political leaders and groups continue to advocate for dialogue with Pakistan. However, many in Kashmir are now voicing a firm stance against the Pahalgam terrorist attack, calling for decisive action rather than diplomacy.

In today’s edition of DNA, Rahul Sinha, Managing Editor of Zee News, analyzed how the Kashmiri Muslim community is viewing the situation.

Watch Today’s Full Episode

The Pahalgam attack has deeply shaken ordinary Kashmiris. The people have come to realise that Pakistan does not desire peace or progress in Kashmir. This attack has torn away the mask of lies and deceit that Pakistan has worn for decades.

The terrorists who targeted the ‘sindoor’ (vermilion) of 26 newlywed brides in Pahalgam have provoked a powerful vow from Kashmiris — a vow to seek justice and avenge the blood that was spilt.

Now, just 10 kilometres from the Line of Control (LoC), the people of Kashmir are raising their voices and calling for the reclamation of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), even if it means taking up arms.

It is now clear that the resolve to reclaim PoK is growing stronger among Kashmiris. The message is loud and clear: we will not let terrorism divide us, and we will fight to reclaim what rightfully belongs to us.

Shine Tom Chacko appears for questioning/PTI

Malayalam actors Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi appeared before excise officials in Alappuzha on Monday, as part of an ongoing investigation into the seizure of hybrid ganja worth approximately Rs 2 crore earlier this month. The drugs were discovered in the possession of a woman, who allegedly told the excise authorities that she had consumed drugs alongside both Chacko and Bhasi. Based on her statement, the excise department issued notices to the actors, prompting their appearance for questioning. The investigation is part of a larger crackdown on drug-related activities, with excise officials examining the involvement of the actors in this particular case.

Meanwhile, Shine Tom Chacko, who has previously faced allegations of drug use and misconduct, continues to be under scrutiny. On April 22, the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) issued a final warning to the actor, urging him to refrain from any further drug use or disruptive behaviour on film sets. FEFKA’s general secretary, B Unnikrishnan, held a press briefing where he confirmed that Chacko had admitted to using drugs. “FEFKA informed family members of Shine that he required professional assistance to overcome the problem of drug use. We will not cooperate with him if he violates the assurance not to create any more problems,” Unnikrishnan said during the press conference.

Shine Tom Chacko’s troubles continued last week when he was involved in an incident during a narcotics raid at a hotel in Kochi. The actor reportedly fled the scene, but he was later apprehended by Kochi police on April 19 after a lengthy interrogation. He was arrested but secured bail shortly afterwards. The ongoing investigation has raised more questions about Chacko’s involvement in the drug-related case.

Commissioner of Police Putta Vimaladitya informed ANI that the investigation is still ongoing. “Investigation with regard to a case registered against actor Shine Tom Chacko is going on. We have taken some samples to be forwarded to the FSL and based on the results, we will conduct further investigation. There are certain other circumstances which we are investigating as well. He is cooperating with the investigation and as of now, we will not be able to actually take it further or make any conclusive remarks unless we have some more information. He has given an explanation and we are verifying if it is true,” the police official said.

Earlier, Shine Tom Chacko appeared at the Ernakulam North Police Station in response to a notice issued by the police, requesting an explanation for his attempt to flee the hotel during the narcotics raid. Shine’s lawyers accompanied him during this appearance.
