Ranchi: Deputy commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri has showcaused Sonahatu circle officer Manoj Kumar Mahato for dereliction of duty following several complaints during his janta darbar. Bhajantri said, “Public hearing is an important step towards making the governance system people-centric and accountable. Sensitivity, transparency and accountability should be paramount in this. Unnecessary pendency of any complaint is not acceptable to the administration.”
