Congress leader Rahul Gandhi interacted with school students in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris despite continuous rain, underscoring the importance of empathy and respect in education and society. Speaking to ANI, Rahul Gandhi shared an interaction with students from Class 7, where a young girl described her favourite teacher as someone who listens, teaches with love, shows kindness and makes learning enjoyable. Gandhi said such an atmosphere of affection, respect and mutual listening is essential for both teaching and learning. Drawing a parallel with his political vision, he said his fight is to help build an India where people are kind to one another, listen to each other, and respect different traditions, languages and religions.
