50 lab technicians donate blood | Ranchi News – The Times of India

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Medical Laboratory Technologist Association (JMLTA) celebrated Lab Technologist Day on Tuesday and a blood donation camp was organised during the day in which about 50 lab technicians donated blood.
In the evening, a scientific seminar and conference was organised and focused on the evolving role of lab technologists in modern healthcare and promoting scientific exchange among professionals. The event was graced by Jharkhand health minister Irfan Ansari as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranchi district civil surgeon Dr Prabhat Kumar said, “Lab technicians played a crucial role in combating the Covid-19 pandemic and we all praised their dedication.”
