3 more sleepers in Delhi-Kerala express train | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: Beginning Aug 2, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express (12284/12283), running between Delhi and Kerala, will permanently operate with three additional sleeper class coaches, taking the total count to six. The move comes in response to growing demand from passengers on this busy north-south corridor. Other coach configurations, including one first AC, two second AC and 10 third AC coaches, remain unchanged. Officials said the augmentation will improve the availability of reserved berths and offer more convenience to long-distance travellers, especially during peak seasons. tnn
